If you know the source material and watch the drama segments, the mood gets killed so hard that you can't even get off during the bonus erotic scenes lol. The drama part alone is worth paying about 1,000 yen for, even without the adult scenes. Why are they so committed to this? It's hilarious. Well, it is an AV, so I recommend fast-forwarding the drama parts to enjoy the erotic scenes first, then watching the drama later. The actress playing Konata puts in a lot of effort, so it's actually watchable for a live-action anime adaptation. The actress for Miyuki is a bit of a letdown looks-wise, but she's close enough to the character that it's acceptable. But seriously, don't say 'I came, gansu' lol. 'Gansu' is only for the opening theme! Kagami and Tsukasa were disappointing, but all the actors and actresses are clearly trying their best, which is endearing.

A work featuring the popular 'Lucky Star'. It focuses on the actress's character while also striving for faithful recreation of the source material. It recreates the original episodes quite accurately. Because of that, I was surprised that the H-scenes were treated as mere bonus footage. 'Lucky Chuta ☆4-Hour Special!!☆' by Moodyz, on the other hand, incorporates H-scenes while still pursuing a high level of fidelity to the original. The characters use wigs, and the costumes are cosplay-grade, so the recreation is decent. The scenario mixes original elements with references from the source material to weave in the H-scenes. Personally, I preferred the Moodyz version.

The drama and erotic parts are completely separated; the drama section is stoic, with zero eroticism and not even a single panty shot (aside from the opening cheerleading dance), which I really liked. In the erotic scenes, she’s her natural self when being dominated by the male actor, but when she takes the lead as a futanari, her character really shines through—it’s incredibly moe. This approach works well. I think it would also be interesting to see a setup where they craft a solid drama, and then have a 'behind the scenes' development where the staff and the actress get together after filming wraps.
