I was made to realize just how important direction is. The cast, including the up-and-coming Shiori Hazuki, are all charming and promising, but the direction feels like it's stuck 20 years in the past. It’s just a monotonous sequence of sex acts that failed to evoke any excitement. Even the 'creampie' scenes, which were a selling point, lacked any sense of intimacy or taboo, ending up as nothing more than a mechanical, physical act.
