Honestly, once she's in that box, the actress can't move, can she? This is actually really good. But it's just not a style that suits VR. Considering it's how most VR developers are thinking about VR content. Why does it *have* to be from the male perspective? They went to the trouble of making such a fantastic restraint, and for what? People don't want 'doing whatever they want to a woman frozen in time' in a time-stop piece. They want to see the sensuality of the woman *trying* to act like time is stopped, but feeling it and almost moving. That's why the Beautiful Mannequin series is so great. That series exists for the NG corner. What viewers experience with this work is, 'close-ups of the actress or the box, with no context' and 'the creaking sound of the box'. Like works where someone is 'trapped in a door, shutter, luggage, or wall', I wanted to see this work from various angles. The commitment to keeping her completely inside the box is admirable. If they just took her out of the box at the end and had normal sex, this would be a ⭐︎1. But... Personally, I wanted this box to have a 'back option function' and a 'cowgirl option function'. There's a missionary option, but it just involves taking her legs out, essentially releasing the restraints. Then it's not 'not taking her out of the box', it's just a woman with no ability to move. Like typical cyber-restraint stuff, I wanted her prone with her limbs bound, or maybe the box split vertically down the middle, allowing access from below or behind while her limbs remained restrained. I was genuinely moved when the leg rests came out from the bottom sides. So I was even more disappointed when they pulled her legs out of the box afterwards.

This face, this voice, this visual… If someone said, "Why aren't you moaning and writhing?", I think I'd short-circuit and die. It's just… incredible.

I don't think Matsumoto Ichika is at all to blame – she always delivers amazing performances. But I question the sense of having the actress say things like 'It feels good,' 'Ugh, ugh, ugh,' or 'Let's do it together' in a sex-droid, real doll, or human masturbator setting. They just don't get it. This is a male-centric doll setting for male pleasure, so the basic lines should be things like 'Please feel good,' 'How's the tightness and size?' or 'It's a masturbator, so feel free to thrust whenever you want.' The concept is great, but this is not how Yazawa would have done it. The SOD VR, for better or worse, is too much of a one-woman show by Yazawa.

Matsumoto Ichika is undeniably cute and talented, but I always thought of her as a character-first actress, like a 'sassy little sister' or a 'mischievous girl crush'. Seeing Ichika lying with her eyes closed in a blister-like set at the opening, I thought to myself, 'Was she always this beautiful?' She exudes a mature charm. The long kiss with Ichika in her package state, at almost zero distance, is the best. I've seen a lot of VR, but the intimacy of that scene is top-tier.
