ADN-010 - My Husband's Invitation: The Bartender's Predatory Gaze

Because she's such a talented actress, I feel like there are better works out there for her than this series. It maintains a high average in a good way, but for that very reason, I felt a bit underwhelmed.

I've bought other Shiraki-san works. This is an 'Ana-Yuru' that doesn't feel like 'Ana-Yuru.' Things like a home bed are basically impossible (lol). I agree that the shop being the main setting makes sense. I personally think the gap between the mundane and the extraordinary is what 'Ana-Yuru' is all about. Yoshimura-san's creepiness and his eyes... is this a dream? Aoyama-san's 'Ana-Yuru' also features Yoshimura-san as the actor. Is it a different kind of 'Ana-Yuru' when he's in it? (lol). I like this series, but I'm not really interested in the rape scenes at the beginning. This work has a proper flow and is worth watching. Lust outweighs the sense of immorality. That's just how affairs are in the real world. A wife ignored by her husband gets caught up in a downward spiral—I think Shiraki-san acted that out very well. It's a masterpiece.

To bring out Yuko Shiraki's best qualities, a serious-toned production suits her. If it were Attackers, a 'home invader' theme would be great, but since that's not available, a 'prison escapee' or 'sexless housewife' role would suit her well.

I think this series is supposed to be about an inexperienced young wife being attacked by a beast, having her 'female door' opened, and gradually falling into depravity. In that sense, Shiraki-san isn't the right fit for the lead. She's pretty, and I hadn't seen her before, so I thought maybe it would be okay since she doesn't have much of a 'motherly' image... but her stomach was clearly sagging, and it really hit home that she's a mature woman. I usually like mature women, but that's not what I was looking for in this work. Well, if there were a child actor playing her son, it might have added a sense of immorality that would be exciting, but that's probably impossible. I really hope they stop casting actresses who play mothers in mature-themed productions.

A man forcing himself on a married woman is not the same as a 'please forgive me' scenario. It's only interesting if the woman is the one doing the seducing.
