I think it probably means Natsuno's child, but the process leading up to it is never explained. Misuzu-san has the image of an innocent married woman that you would want to be around. It's a shame that the material wasn't bad, but it wasn't a good one. Basically, I think the problem lies with the production side. It was a somewhat frustrating work.
