The insertion scenes, which were iffy in the Hikari works, are definitely an upgrade here. The excitement of a boyish member entering deep inside, and the sense of transgression, is pretty good. However, the post-insertion, explosive climax with external ejaculation feels a bit too AV-like. If you're into that, maybe a scene of him struggling to get in and getting frustrated would be better. The deep thrusting felt a bit off, lacking build-up and feeling rushed. I think it's also a problem with the actress's performance, but it's a shame the quality dropped compared to the excellent Hikari works. The son's friend is stuck in a perpetual state of immaturity, unable to rely on as a man, and the son shows no signs of moving out, so the drama of the 'mother' returning to 'woman' feels weak. The script leans towards a predictable summer fling rather than a deeper exploration. They rehashed tired tropes like masturbating in front of the husband's portrait, and they lost the unique touches like the bliss of a thoroughly satisfied woman making breakfast for her man. It feels like a shift towards safe, mass-produced content, and that's a little concerning. The actors are doing their jobs, both dramatically and in terms of chemistry, and Ayaka Muto's growth is particularly impressive – she used to come across as a weak actress, and now she's pulling off a role that demands so much emotion. The work isn't bad by any means, but it's lost its edge and feels like a step back in terms of standing out from the crowd. Personally, I'm a little sad to see the series heading towards this template-driven approach.
