However, it follows a very common formula, and the actual content is rather mundane. If you ask whether the script or direction offer anything to elevate it, you'd be a bit disappointed. Specifically, the mid-section where deep-penetration is accepted so casually feels flat. Considering the character's life was changed by a pregnancy, she lacks a confrontation with her past, and comes across as unintelligent, which ruins the thrill, transgression, and guilt, ultimately harming the eroticism. Given that emergency contraception is readily available, it would have been good to see her obtain it out of regret, but deliberately refrain from taking it, succumbing to destructive pleasure – a touch of madness. The actress did a good job following the script, both dramatically and in her performance, but it lacked that final step to break away from the clichés, which is a shame.
