The male actor's skill is fantastic, and you can really appreciate Kato's mature performance. Top tier stuff.

Her portrayal of a woman desperate to get pregnant and the bliss of conception through sex is phenomenal. The initial scene, with her making eye contact during insemination, is incredible, and the later scene, where she seems to savor the feeling of the sperm in her womb, is equally captivating. The pacing is perfect – seven years of trying with her husband, then back-to-back pregnancies after starting with her stepdad. The script finally feels fully realized. This sets a high bar for future actresses, which is a bit unfair.
