The actor's 'thug' performance is great, and the actress's desperate acting is also excellent. It's a story-driven piece with such good actors, but the room set as a 'married couple's bedroom' is completely white, with nothing but a table and chairs. There's no way anyone actually lives there, so what's going on? No matter how good the setup or the sex scenes are, the thought 'This doesn't look like a couple's room at all...' keeps popping into my head, making it impossible to get immersed. Everyone else is working hard, so the production team needs to step it up, seriously.
