I thought the tan lines were the selling point, but the lighting and exposure were so poorly balanced that the actress's skin tone is completely blown out. The tan lines I was looking forward to are barely visible. The actress herself has a strange vibe. With her damaged, messy brown hair and rough skin, she looks more like a hostess or a sex worker than a student. It feels far removed from the 'After School' subtitle. The gym uniform look is just painful to watch. And the director's obsession with maid cosplay is still here. Since the actress already has a flashy look, it just makes it look even more tacky. At least try to match the outfit to the vibe. Even within the same label, this director has a very distinct style that can be hit or miss. While I appreciate that they put out a huge volume of work, it feels like both the filming and the marketing have become a bit lazy. I have high expectations, so I hope they step it up.
