It's a popular Attackers series, and since it features Yuna Shiina as a female investigator, I decided to buy it without hesitation. It was top-tier.
I should've read the reviews before downloading. Well, it's a monthly subscription service so I don't feel like I lost money, but it was a waste of time. Regardless, it's a massive piece of trash.
Kill -> Sex in the basement -> End. It's a monotonous and cheap flow. The only 'slave-like' depiction is a collar. The play itself is just oral and sex, so it's actually at a level that even an actress with many NGs could handle. Not only is the actress's acting poor, but the villains just threaten and kill, so it feels like watching a low-budget play the whole time. It might have been better if they had made Yuna Shiina the lead, but...
An An Yabuki vehicle; Yuna Shiina and Miina Kotaki are just supporting roles, so be warned if you're looking to see Yuna Shiina as the lead. The rape scenes leading up to Yabuki becoming an investigator are summarized as a drama digest, with the real action starting only after she becomes an investigator. From having her moans heard by colleagues and her lover through a wire she planted for undercover work, to being unable to resist the pleasure of being violated while forced to watch her lover get murdered in front of herโitโs full of the hopeless, brutal scenes typical of Attackers. The acting isn't exactly top-tier, so the production quality as a drama isn't high, but the quality of the humiliation play is solid.
The reason this work feels so monotonous is that they made An Yabuki the de facto lead, even though she can't adjust her acting to fit the situation. (They shouldn't have skipped the first rape scene). While Yuna Shiina is as alluring as ever and great for masturbation, her resistance after being captured is too weak, which really kills the immersion. The production team needs to think more seriously about what viewers actually expect from a 'detective' theme.
