Reiko Sawamura's lesbian works rarely disappoint, so I bought this with high expectations. The blindfold scene was especially erotic; seeing Reiko trembling was pure sex appeal. Erika Sawaki's technique was a bit soft for my taste, but the slow, deliberate pacing wasn't bad at all.

While there are 'lesbian play' scenes like the dream sequence at the bar where cunnilingus and fingering are the focus, the true sense of this work lies in its focus on serious 'lesbian sex' where they embrace naked and build up tension through kissing. It's surprising that Koichi Takahashi directed this, as the composition prioritizes the mental climax between women over flashy visuals. This kind of sensibility isn't always common even among directors who specialize in lesbian content. Sawamura's acting, portraying the tension and excitement of a lesbian novice transitioning from heterosexuality, is truly top-notch. While Sawamura might be the main draw, Erika Sawaki is just as intense. She avoids any sense of stupidity or childishness, successfully exuding a calm, mature eroticism between women. If I had to complain, I wish the semi-nude play in the apartment or hotel hallway had been a bit more daring and on the edge.

I was really fired up during the opening bar scene. Why they couldn't maintain that level of eroticism in the second half is beyond me—the director must have gotten bored halfway through. If they hadn't lost interest and kept that opening-scene vibe for the lesbian acts until the end, this would have been a legendary work.
