Iizima YoukoHitomi EnzyouHitomi, a housekeeper, seduces Yoko, who is suffering from a cold marriage. Yoko eventually falls deep into a lesbian relationship and decides to leave her husband behind to run away with Hitomi.
Maybe it feels more like 'middle-aged lesbian' than 'mature woman lesbian'? The psychological depiction of a woman bored with married life finding a second love is very well done. You can really feel the femininity in the way she gradually opens her heart after being confessed to. If you're a fan of mature women, I don't think it's a bad watch.
The title and cover art stole my heart, so I bought it immediately! Usually, I get a bit annoyed when men appear in lesbian works, but in this film, it serves as an important scene to confirm their mutual affection, so I'm grateful to the director for that choice. Hitomi's expression while worrying about Yoko was great, and she really captured the feeling of being a reliable partner. The scene at the end where Yoko hugs Hitomi tightly from behind is a major heart-fluttering moment! However, I do wonder if the opening was necessary. I think it would have been better if they dragged out the tension leading up to the kiss—like Hitomi hesitating or Yoko resisting after the coming out—to keep the viewers on edge. Still, the lines about her husband and 'If I were a man, I'd want to make you my bride' were very touching, and the flow from the coming out to the lesbian scene was excellent. As expected, Hitomi's 'top' performance is warm and skillful. The BGM also kicked in at all the right moments. Overall, I was very satisfied, and I'd love to see the 'Elopement Age-Gap Lesbian' installment as well. Please make it happen!
*It's not bad, but I would like it to be a little more erotic. I look forward to the next time, Ren and director. Also, Enjoyama-san's voice is so low that it's hard to hear his lines.
