I haven't read the original work so I can't compare, but the atmosphere of a Showa-era countryside summer and how well the actors fit their roles is incredible. It was an eroticism that made you feel the texture of a young girl's skin, as if it were glistening with water.

*The actress is very good, but since the movie is structured with and without subtitles, the actual time is only half of the time. I also wanted to see different scenes. It's a waste
