It's a drama, but I felt like I was watching a documentary. Maybe it's because they are two people actually going through a breakup. Shiina's eyes as he watches Tsukishima being taken are genuinely sorrowful... and the line he says later, "I'll protect you," really hits home. Perhaps the slightly over-the-top acting of the co-star, Nakajima, actually worked in its favor, making their subsequent intimacy even more moving for the viewer. Plus, with every new project, their scenes get increasingly erotic. Just seeing the way they look at each other, you can feel the overflowing love between them, and it's irresistible. I truly believe there are some works that can only be filmed because it's Vivians!

When the male and female actors are the same combination, there's no freshness, and I'm already bored. Because it's the same pairing, the plot felt forced. It's time to wrap this up and try a different combination next time. If possible, I'd like to see her paired with a decent, established actress. No more trying to sell someone by piggybacking on others.
