I bought this standalone title after watching 'Forbidden 8 Hours Between Teacher and Student.' The 'tutor' part mentioned in the title only lasts for the first 49 minutes; the actress's natural performance is very realistic and great, and the actor actually does a good job for once. However, after the 50-minute mark, it turns into a generic, terrible mess that I can't believe was directed by the same person. Just write off the second half and buy it as if it's a 49-minute film. If it were just the first half, I'd give it 4 stars. I really wanted to see more of the first part, so it's a shame.

Such a missed opportunity!

This is Aina Makihara's first project after moving from a major studio where she didn't quite stand out. The gal-style makeup actually suits her surprisingly well; I think I prefer this over her pure image.
