While Shirayama-san plays a mother perfectly in her other works, for some reason, she doesn't look like a mother in this one. It's set as if she has an 18-year-old child, so maybe they tried to make her look younger with clothes and makeup, but she looked a bit too young. Perhaps I felt this way because it was my first time seeing this actress. If I had seen her other works first, it might have been easier to picture her as a mother.

Her cute smile and petite, firm body feel very real—she’s like what Nozomi Ishihara might look like in 20 years. The mosaic work is also quite careful for its time, making this an overall solid production.
