BMVR-072 - [VR] Not 1st Person! Third-Person POV: Kanon's Explicit Temptation

*The story is average, but the camera work is amazing as it carefully licks the body from the first time she undresses. The sense of distance was perfect, and it was my favorite purchase of the year.

This isn't a standard POV VR; it feels more like you're just a camera in an AV shoot. First off, what bothered me right from the start was the extreme close-up camera work, which makes things look giant and distorted. Plus, you can hear a dog barking in the distance the whole time (well, that can't be helped, I guess). As for image quality, the close-up scenes aren't bad, but overall it's just average. The camera moves, but not enough to cause motion sickness, so that's fine. It only switches to a POV-style angle during the final insertion, but the alignment is completely off. The production is obsessed with extreme close-ups (looking directly into the camera) of the actress's features and expressions, but there are plenty of other VR works with 'invisible man' or third-person perspectives, so this didn't feel new at all. More than that, the distortion, the scale issues, the annoying director's interview at the beginning, and the stale content are much more noticeable. This label generally has poor VR reviews, and now I see why. You really can't trust review scores unless there's a decent sample size. 980 yen wasted, but it was a good lesson.

I bought and watched this on a certain site, so I'll only talk about the content! Because it's just that amazing! Personally, it's the #1 VR I've ever seen. A masterpiece that shouldn't be buried. In VR, people often judge based on whether it's a 'proper subjective POV without alignment issues,' but this work fulfills the desire to 'enter the world of the AVs I used to watch in 2D and observe the actress closely from various angles.' With smooth, nausea-free camerawork, you can freely zoom in on the subject, which improves the image quality, and since the male actor has more freedom, the intensity of the play—and the actress's genuine reactions—increases. I think this format is one of the optimal solutions for adult VR as of Feb-March 2018. Recommended points: ◎If you're a fan of Kanon Kimiiro, buy it immediately. You'll be able to jerk off to this for a lifetime. ◎There are close-ups, so it's great for parts fetishists. And abs fetishists. Abs fetishists (I wrote it twice because it's important) will love this. ◎She's clearly feeling it, to the point of stringy fluids after the vibrator. ◎The male actor's thrusting is very intense. Disappointing points: ×It's such a masterpiece, yet it feels completely overlooked. The content is innovative, but the thumbnail, title, and sample images lack appeal... 'Show-off VR' is a sophisticated tagline, but they could have marketed it in a more vulgar, catchy way, like 'Become an AV Cameraman!' ×The zoom-in after the cowgirl position is a bit too close. Things to note: △The first half is an interview format, so the director talks. △Even where it looks like a subjective POV, it's not a perfect first-person position. During cowgirl, the camera is positioned around the male actor's stomach. However, because it zooms in on the actress, the image quality is clear. I really hope they continue this series—or at least this filming method—with other actresses. Please keep up the good work!
