This is a compilation of the legendary AV idol Hikaru Hoshino. The mosaic editing isn't much different, but since it includes all 8 titles, it's worth buying for fans. I still think her debut work, 'Virgin Palace Chapter 2,' is a masterpiece. (It's a shame that the emotional direction of the original was cut during the mosaic editing process...) On the other hand, many of her later works are baffling from today's perspective. Perhaps because they mostly (or entirely?) consist of flat chests and simulated sex, her moans feel very scripted. Looking back, I don't feel any pride or sense of service from her as an AV actress. There was zero facial ejaculation, and she even hated oral sex, opting to finish with handjobs. In her later works, she just relied on simulated ejaculation with white lotion after simulated sex. In today's industry, where there are so many actresses with better looks, figures, and much higher levels of eroticism, she wouldn't stand a chance. Furthermore, the direction and acting in the drama segments are unbearable. Maybe it's the director's taste—a trend also seen in works by Mai Asakura from the same period—but the plots are just perverted men abusing the actress in nonsensical ways. Overall, while it's a must-have collector's item for old-school fans, it has no value beyond historical interest for the current generation discovering her for the first time. At the very least, don't expect it to serve its primary purpose as an AV: something to get off to.

A very cute actress I used to be a fan of. I was hoping for no-mosaic, but that wasn't the case. Still, it brought back memories, so I think it's worth keeping in the collection.

She's sometimes called the best AV actress, but personally, I find her disappointing because she never does facial shots. Back then, about half of them didn't, so it wasn't exactly rare, but the prettier the actress, the more I want to see it. To be extreme, I was watching AVs specifically for facial shots until recently (though Sakura Momoka's amazing figure changed my perspective), so I find her and Hitomi Shiraishi to be disappointing actresses.
