The combination of hidden-camera style and a narrative makes it easy to get immersed. By focusing on human relationships and viewing it from a detached perspective, the atmosphere, realism, and tension of the sex scenes feel fresh. I'm sick of AVs that are just 60 minutes of nudity, extreme close-ups where you can see pores, and nameless (or overly professional) actors repeating the same cycle: blowjob โ cunnilingus โ intercourse โ facial. The depiction of the girl's shyness when she reveals her body to an acquaintance for the first time in the second sex scene is something you rarely see in other AVs. Moving forward, I'd like to see more scenarios while maintaining that sense of intimacyโthings like rape, lesbian, reverse-rape, or incest themes. It would be even more interesting if they included high school girl themes that weren't in 'Tokyo Love Map,' or added some kinky play to the monotonous sex scenes. I look forward to seeing that fine line between desire and reality in future releases.
While the pursuit of realism is fine, there are too many unnecessary parts that make it hard to watch as an AV. The concept might be good, but the execution is flawed.
