*I feel like I found a common thread in this series, where the main character wishes his Dutch doll girlfriend to remain human forever, but in the end she turns back into a doll and never opens her eyes again. I think this is because, although she expresses her feelings of love for the protagonist in words, he does not confess his true love for her as well. The tears that the doll sheds at the ending symbolize this. It may be necessary as a structure to continue the series, but I think it's a bit of a waste of a precious work.
