It feels like they tried to do too much, leaving each segment feeling short and unsatisfying. As someone who has seen the original work, I think it would have been more enjoyable if they had split it into three separate 3-hour films. Maybe focus one on Yuko Morishita, one on Saki Kurihara, and one on Itsumi Morikawa or Maya Ogi? But I suppose if you want to watch your favorite actress in depth, an omnibus format is bound to leave you wanting more.
I'm dissatisfied with both the selection and the editing. The masterpieces of the 'Slave Flower' series are missing, and the editing fails to capture the unique atmosphere of the series, which is a huge letdown.
