CMN-018 - The Obedient Pet: Kawakami Yu's Ultimate Submission

This really defines what SM is. It's the work that cemented the impression that when you think of SM actresses, you think of Yu Kawakami. She's pretty much broken in this. I think after this, more works started competing to be even more miserable and extreme. Personally, it's not my favorite, but I consider it a monumental work in the SM AV industry.

Yu Kawakami is doing an amazing job, but something—whether it's the camera work, the male actor's lack of direction, or the entire staff—is ruining the whole thing. It's such a shame.

I usually prefer tall, masculine-featured beauties, but for some reason, I'm a fan of Kawakami-san. Maybe it's her technique? I really liked the puppy-style play.

It's a good value since it includes a digest of her past works in the middle. Seeing Yu-chan with one leg hoisted up, her anus being teased while her face is visible, and the look of distress on her face as the enema is inserted is fantastic. If only they had let her defecate right there! Please make a movie like that!

I prefer the documentary-style approach in her SM works. This one follows that trend, offering a glimpse into the training process. I'm not sure if it's Yu Kawakami's personal preference, but things like crawling on all fours or nose-play aren't really my thing. If it weren't for her, I would've fast-forwarded through those parts. The torture scenes at the beginning and end were excellent. The whipping at the end was especially superb, perfectly capturing the intensity of the training. The enema scene, by extending the evacuation time, subtly lets the viewer know the glycerin was real; even if it was heavily diluted, it transcends mere acting.
