CMN-048 - Sacrifice to the Lust God: Archaeologist Mai's Curse

It wasn't interesting at all, no matter how you look at it. Zero stars as an SM work or even as a general production. The strip-like dancing was also terrible.

The premise is a total turn-off. It's an SM video, yet there's so much unnecessary filler.

Personally, the story just didn't click with me. I'm not a fan of SM in unrealistic settings. They focused too much on the plot, making the actual content feel thin. I've gotten used to this director's style, and I usually rent their work because the quality is generally good, but sometimes you get a dud like this. I know it's hard to come up with fresh concepts every time when you're constantly thinking about the visuals, but please, no more trying to distract us with a weak story.

I could pretty much guess the content from the packaging and the sample clip, but this was an even bigger farce than I expected. A woman—an archaeologist(?), I guess—wearing a necklace time-travels and gets subjected to various acts, but there's zero eroticism. There's only one sex scene, making the whole thing incredibly unsatisfying. She screams and cries during the golden shower and candle play as if she's genuinely miserable, but since she showed no such signs before, it makes absolutely no sense. There's no payoff, just some cringey, comical acting left over. The male actor chanting spells is just laughable.

Striptease to standing masturbation. Tentacle play. Bound in a fundoshi with legs spread, followed by urination and hot wax torture. The content is very good, but I felt the work lacked overall 'impact.' Starting with some criticism: it felt more 'clean' than 'lewd' throughout, so I think it lacked that raw, dirty appeal. Another issue is the mosaic during the striptease and standing masturbation scenes. It's a shame to have mosaics during such a great dance sequence; I would have preferred to see the bikini wedgie or a tiny g-string. Also, for the standing masturbation, I wish they had filmed with her butt facing the camera. However, as expected from director Yuta Shinonome, his ability to bring imagery to life and his 'exquisite low angles' are top-tier. I was very satisfied with the fundoshi bondage scene and the fact that they took plenty of time for each dance and torture sequence. I am a huge fan of director Yuta Shinonome, who truly understands the difference between 'extreme' and 'erotic.' I look forward to more works blending dance and SM in the future.
