CSD-001 - Forbidden Boarding House: The Widow's Seduction

The buildup before the actual act feels a bit long, but Maika Asai's sexiness really stands out.

Set in the early Showa era, the story follows a ryokan landlady who, at the request of a business client, takes a naive boy under her wing—handling everything from his meals to his sexual education—to mold him into a man. The scenery and daily life truly captured the atmosphere of the past, and Asai Maika’s portrayal of a sordid, complex woman was incredibly erotic. The scene where she experiences vaginismus and can't let go was lewd, and the sex scenes had a real visceral, sticky quality to them. Some parts were a bit off-putting, but that might just be a testament to Maika's acting prowess. The interview at the end was great, too. She spoke nonchalantly about how her real-life sex life is just like the movies—loud moans and squirting included. She even said she’d be happy if fans recognized her on the street. It was refreshing to see such a popular actress without a hint of arrogance.

*Although it is called a novel, there is nothing like a story. The story simply depicts the relationship between the landlady of the boarding house and the boarders. Asai has become a little more fleshy and is overflowing with sexiness.　A life-like act of climax on the verge of fainting is performed. The lighting is poor and the photographer's shadow is reflected, making it uninteresting, and the microphone picks up the director's instructions when undressing before taking a bath, and the production is shoddy. I was amazed that a long-established Ruby company would make products like this. I feel sorry for the actress who is giving such a passionate performance.

I've been let down by this Ruby series so many times that I watched this with zero expectations, but wow, it really makes a difference when the actress is good. Is Maika Asai really 48? Seriously? She played the sex-crazed widow so well that I got sucked in, even knowing it was just acting. I could have done without the fake finish and the final interview—I really wanted to see a facial—but it was still top-tier.
