Overall they're cute, but not quite 'idol' level (though there are some cute ones). It's a solid work that's being held back by its title.

The actresses are just awful. I’m actually impressed by how they managed to gather such a low-caliber cast. It’s honestly bold of them to even market this as an 'idol' production. The only saving grace was Rioka Todo. She isn't exactly a beauty, but she had a certain class that made her reactions feel genuinely idol-like. Everything else was a disaster, but I’m giving it two stars for her sake.
