I recently discovered Miho Tsuno and bought this on sale. I have no complaints about the actresses, but the scenario is a mess, and the camerawork and angles are garbage. Ten Hasumi hasn't changed a bit despite the long break. She's cute. The fact that she's wearing a mask in the final photo really reflects the times. Tsuno-san's figure is just unfair, too. Hasumi is mixed-race, so that helps. The previous work felt heavy, but since this actor usually does those 'pickup' series overseas, a lighter ending is fine. Still, mother and daughter are mother and daughter no matter what. Being told 'I wish I was never born' hits harder than anything else. It's more effective at breaking someone's body and soul than a slap to the face. They really get it.
