I've only seen two of Homare Momono's works so far, but the unique blend of her cheerful personality and distinct look is something I've never experienced before; personally, I'm inclined to crown her the #1 rookie of the year. I watched this third work with high expectations, but... If I had seen this first, I probably wouldn't have rented another Momono work. It follows an 'AV-averse' trope where a gravure shoot turns into an erotic one, so she spends the whole time acting reluctant, and her cuteness barely shines through. The half-hearted swimsuit scenes kill the appeal of her body. (She doesn't have a body that suits swimwear.) 'AV-averse' works usually have scenes where they do pseudo-sex during interviews, and those are generally worth watching, but I couldn't find any such highlights here. Ah, there were a few moments where she looked incredibly cute, but you can probably see that in any standard AV. That said, I'll keep watching Momono's works to confirm her true potential.
