Even when she fails the test, it's just a matter of reciting the name 10 times, so there's none of the grim 'you can't leave until you master it' vibe suggested by the title. It's a great work that really captures Ai-chan's cuteness and charm. The only downside is that for the last 10 positions in both the Guidance and Test sections, they switch to a digest format, showing only the names and cutting the flow. It was great up until the 38th position, so that was a real letdown. The transition process is part of the position, so the digest format is a no-go. There are many '48 positions' works out there, but this one is definitely worth recommending.
For about 70 minutes, the AV actor (Moriyama-san, maybe?) teaches Ai-chan 48 positions through practice. If you try to memorize them along with Ai-chan, you get distracted and lose interest. I was impressed by the actor's memory for memorizing all 48 positions. After a break, there's a 50-minute test. The actor inserts, and Ai-chan has to name the position, but it's a bit dull. They should've added a penalty game. In the final 30 minutes, I'm not sure how they chose them, but Ai-chan demonstrates positions like 'Matsuba Kuzushi' on the actor. This seems to be the highlight. How about this instead? Ai-chan and her 'boyfriend' actor arrive at the studio and are told, 'You need to memorize these 48 positions.' They decide to 'learn by doing' and have sex. Then the test: the boyfriend inserts, Ai-chan answers, and if she gets it wrong, she gets a penalty. The AV actor waiting on the sidelines grabs Ai-chan and pounds her relentlessly in that position. Wouldn't that be a better penalty?
