The dialogue with the guy is way too prominent. He stands out more than the lead, and his mumbling voice is hard to hear and annoying. Unless you're into the guy, this is unnecessary. It feels like a lazy way to skip writing a script by just having the guy ramble instead, and it comes off as very sloppy.
