I've been playing the 'mancolin' (mandolin) for 32 years. This was the most moving performance of my mancolin life. Thank you. First off, the picking technique is superb. Beyond the rapid-fire notes, every single sound has a perfect texture. And the way the sound is utilized through different playing styles! It was the ultimate expression. But the highlight, of course, was the massive amount of 'mandolin tide'! The sheer volume of fluid gushing from the mancolin was truly beautiful. I tried to play along, but my electric guitar locked up and my performance ended in 3 seconds. I really can't compete with Shino Toda's playing... It was the best experience. 3,000 yen is way too cheap for this!
