FTA-047 - Training the Aspiring Idol: Brainwashed into Submission

The 'pseudo-AV' genre shot to fame following the massive success of the legendary clothed-ero video 'Less Than AV' (starring Mika Shindo). Operating under the constraints of 'nude okay, petting okay, no intercourse,' it carved out a unique eroticism distinct from standard AVs. 'Training for Showbiz' follows that same industry trend. The difference from the 'original' is that the performers are guaranteed to make an AV debut immediately afterward. The star of this film, Noko Minami, went on to make her official AV debut with 'Moegikko Club.' Once you know the 'trick,' it's a bit of a letdown, but as a form of 'pre-game prep' to hype up an AV debut, it's a very meaningful production. There's a certain charm to a 'debut film without the main event.'

It's rare to see a work this half-baked that fails to cater to any audience. First off, what was up with the lighting in the opening? Is it supposed to be a situation where some old guy brought her home for compensated dating? The model has potential if the direction were better. I don't get why she's still wearing nipple covers when her top is clearly visible in the swimsuit scene, and the band-aid on her crotch is a total no-go. It fails as an erotic photo shoot, and it fails as an AV. It's the worst.

It's clearly a rip-off of Alice Corporation, but they couldn't even get that right. They have zero understanding of fetish or 'chaku-ero' (clothed erotica). They just fumble around and film it. It's a disaster—honestly, these people have no business making content; they're that incompetent. 'Team Kawasaki'? Give me a break. They're completely taking the customers for fools.

There were moments that made me go 'Oh!'. The band-aids were a no-go, but the girl is cute, so I'll give it a generous rating.
