I feel like if they don't start thinking about how to end these shota-themed works, the fans of this genre are going to drift away. They end with the same pattern every time: Shota series → ends with a hug (after doing the deed without getting caught by friends/parents), Mom-Shota → ends with sex. For the Shota series, I think it would be fine if the relationship continued. Especially in this case, where they were hiding the act from parents and friends, ending it abruptly with a 'studying abroad' hug felt weak. It would have been better if the relationship continued while abroad and they reunited to continue the act upon return. If the sense of taboo is the main draw for Mom-Shota, then the relationship should definitely continue. I wish they'd put more thought into the direction.
