Bought it used. The acting isn't particularly great, so if I were to judge it purely on the work itself, 3 stars would be fair. However, her debut profile claims she's a mother of six. Well, these backstories can be made up, so who knows if it's true. The plot follows a mother and son after the husband dies in an accident. The mother is actively looking for a new husband to pay for her son's college tuition. It touches on the harsh reality that even for a single child, securing college funds as a single-parent household is incredibly difficult. It felt so realistic that it really made me think. Regardless of whether her background is true or not, it made me ponder things like, 'Even if her husband were alive, raising six kids would definitely require a steady income' (since the real expenses start in high school), which led to all sorts of 'distracting thoughts' while watching.
