The atmosphere is a bit gloomy, but I thought the story and world-building were good. I liked how it played with twisted psychology, and the development of finding pleasure in helplessness was well done. However, the effect of the aphrodisiac felt a little weak, and I think it could have been drawn out a bit more. Almost a masterpiece, but just falls short.
