Honestly, it’s packed with all the worst tropes of Japanese cinema. It started off promising, but the dialogue between the girls is just too long! And the 'my feelings are...' emotional monologues drag on forever. The reason Japanese films get boring is precisely because of these long-winded 'please understand my feelings!' scenes from female characters, and the male allies' endless, mumbling monologues about their inferiority complexes. That church scene in the beginning was completely unnecessary. Also, the scene in the second half with the swarm of ants—were they trying to recreate a bug fetish? For anyone who dislikes insects, it’s just gross, not erotic. Plus, the screen is way too dark. Maybe they were trying to set a mood? Overall, the premise—a plucky heroine and a setting with almost no men—was good, but it was ruined by typical Japanese movie clichés.
Are the people giving this high ratings watching something else? The runtime is a measly hour, there's absolutely nothing to get off to, no scenes with the villain, just a tiny bit of panty-flashing. What am I supposed to do with this?
*As for the heroine, I think it's more Z●N than G●GA. Isn't cost performance bad in this price range? Even if the time is shortened, the level of the actress may be raised if it is more than IV. Personally, I don't know the intention of blaming insects, so the process of evil deterioration is I think that simply brainwashing and rape through black magic would have been more aesthetically pleasing. There are few manufacturers who produce this kind of work. I'm looking forward to the sequel!!
*This is my first time watching an AV of this kind of genre, so please read this as my impressions from an amateur's perspective. At first, I was drawn into the story and watched it all the way to the end without skipping. Even though there are no men, no one is naked, and there are no particularly erotic situations, for some reason I find myself getting excited and watching. As other people have commented, I was concerned about the balance of the voices of actresses other than the main character and the disturbance of the images, but since this is my first work, I hope that things will be improved in the future if the series is made into a series. On the other hand, the beauty of the lighting, costumes, makeup, and camera work are wonderful, and you can feel that the film was shot from the perspective of a female director. What I felt was most outstanding above all else was the acting ability of the main character, RUKA. I was drawn in by her sharp facial expressions and the way she phrased her lines, giving me the power of a stage actress. Listening to the emotional narration, I felt like I was being read aloud from an erotic novel, which aroused my excitement and made me develop a new sexual fetish.
The first video work from the 'defeated superheroine' series out of Gotanda. With great acting from the villains, the heroine, and the supporting cast, plus the way the heroine's predicament and the villains were highlighted, the overall storytelling made this an absolute must-watch for fans of the genre.
