HET-410 - Storytelling Time

I think this is a great project. Hasegawa-san, who appears first, is the highlight, but the other two are good as well. The bonus footage makes it feel like a good value.

Having a girl read Japanese literature aloud while having sex with her—this 'while-doing' (nagara) sex genre is well-established now, but I remember it being quite novel at the time of release. I bought this for Riri Yuki, but she lost her voice halfway through; I really wanted her to keep reading even with a strained, breathless voice. As for Tomoko Hasegawa, for better or worse, it felt flat from start to finish—neither good nor bad. I discovered the actress AOI in this work, and her reading was the most exciting part. She kept reading while holding back, her voice catching in her throat. There's a bonus scene of post-shoot sex at the end, and her moans were huskier than I imagined. Thinking about how she was suppressing that kind of voice while reading just made it even more arousing. 'Kokoro' by Natsume Soseki is a favorite of mine, but this made me feel like it was such an immoral story, which was a strange sensation. It has become one of those films I still watch from time to time.

I like that she doesn't seem to feel it. That's why the first one, Tomoko Hasegawa, is the best. It's a shame I can't find any other works featuring her.

The concept involves having AV actresses read classic Japanese literature while subjecting them to various lewd pranks. The production value is quite high, as they actually rented a small theater and even hired extras to act as an audience. While the actresses are at the center mic reading their 'assigned books,' the male actors waiting behind them frequently approach to interfere in various ways. The pacing feels a bit sluggish overall, making it feel like a 'failed concept' in some respects, but the novelty of the idea is definitely worth credit. The way they casually skip over difficult kanji while reading is just part of the charm.

I think the concept is genuinely excellent. The girl has that 'bookish' (serious) vibe and is just the right amount of cute, which is great. However, it really needs that dynamic where she gets too aroused to keep reading or gets scolded for not focusing on the book. It's such a missed opportunity.
