A Lament of the Showa Era. In any era, a woman is a woman… A widow draped in sensuality and sorrow, bewitching men. Women of the Showa era, living strongly while being swayed by men. Struggling to live in order to meet a lover, even while becoming men's solace. A woman swayed by a special attack unit member on the verge of the end of the war and those around her. Raw desire emanating from a rural village. Falling into the role of a comfort woman with nowhere to go, gradually becoming desensitized to pleasure…

You kinda wonder if women really looked like that back then, with such good figures and beauty. And during the act, the fellatio… was that even common in that era? I mean, it's an AV, so I guess I can accept it. But the drama parts were hard to watch because of all the historical inaccuracies. The actresses are all charming, and I found the more mature, slightly worn bodies more alluring than what you usually see with younger performers.
The title says 'male supremacy,' but over half the story has nothing to do with it. Even the parts that *are* supposed to be about that are mostly underwhelming. There was one decent 'male supremacy' storyline, but that's the only thing worth mentioning – the rest was a letdown, honestly.
It was a collection of works from when these actors were still young – now they're all seasoned veterans. It had a certain charm to it, I really enjoyed it. You could feel their experience.
