HND-213 - Late bloomer gal debuts at 20, gets into AV due to sexless relationship, and finally retires (Reika Aiba)

Saying she's retiring because she's tired of acting... it's disappointing to hear her dismiss the entire AV industry with words that let down her fans. She says she's retiring to work at a pachinko parlor; I hope she works hard there instead of being half-hearted like she was in AV. I lost the desire to watch even the rest of the intro. This would be a negative score if I could give one.

If you want to know the real Reika Aiba, this is a must-buy! Why she became an AV actress, what she was like as a student, how she acts in front of her boyfriend, what her future goals are—I think the theme of this work is "the unfiltered, true Reika Aiba." The sexual content is standard, but it's a great watch for those who want to connect with her as a person.

She looks like she'd have a very youthful face without the gyaru makeup. I felt it was a bit of a waste that she takes off the yukata so quickly, but the final school uniform scene was great with the 'half-undressed' look. There are many interview scenes, giving it a bit of a documentary feel as it follows her from the hot springs and back. Might be worth it if you're a fan.

It feels like a collection of duds. Aiba-san feels like 'why now?'... and on top of that, she's retiring??? I don't get it. I always check Honchu's releases, but for the August batch, only Mizuno Asahi's work is worth watching. I wish they'd put more effort into their casting and concepts.
