ISD-025 - Country boat house middle-aged woman

Isn't the premise that a young man went out of his way to visit her? Just going through the motions half-heartedly won't make the viewers feel anything or react. If she's supposed to be starved for men, she should be acting more clingy or sweet toward a younger guy—where's the emotion? It's a recurring issue with this series... basically, the director is just incompetent. And for the goodbye, couldn't she at least say 'Don't go!'? Maybe do an FA-style intense parting kiss or a quick round from behind?
