Nanako-san is my type. The scenario was simple and good, too. However, it feels like she's just trying to rush through her lines, so she speaks too fast and the pauses between lines are too short. It doesn't feel like a conversation. It would have been perfect if she had taken a breath between lines. She speaks before the male actor finishes his lines, which feels unnatural. It might have been better if they had treated it like a natural conversation rather than reading from a script. In this work, Nanako-san seems more focused on not messing up her lines than on acting, so the performance felt stiff and lacked passion. The interaction with the male actor in the first half was also too one-sided, perhaps to express youthful impulsiveness. That might have been intentional, though. In the second half, I expected more of a back-and-forth emotional connection, but it felt disjointed because she was too focused on the lines. It's a bit disappointing because if they had nailed that part, it would have been a great work. Looking forward to her next one.
