I never understood Nao Jinguji's appeal until this work. She's not a stunning beauty, and her body isn't particularly curvy. Her nipples are dark, and her pubic hair is natural. In this work, however, all those things become essential elements that make her feel like a real married woman, making her look alluring and erotic. Director Jo Asagiri brilliantly captures her shift from worrying about her family to actively seeking an affair, eventually settling into a non-business friends-with-benefits relationship. Even actor Oki, whom I usually dislike for his quirks, plays the role of an ordinary lecherous man perfectly, which really highlights Nao Jinguji's natural eroticism.
Saw it on X and decided to watch it on a whim. The final missionary scene, where they really take their time, is fantastic. Her acting is restrained, but you can tell how much she's enjoying it. The ejaculation happens right at the point of penetration and covers her face—it’s not a forced facial, but a natural one. You rarely see that kind of thing unless it's an overseas production or an old-school 90s film with a young actor. I love the gap between her being a good actress and clearly enjoying the penetration.
Another brand took an i-Pocket production and remade it using the same director and script. i-Pocket made it a bitter, mature drama, but the Madonna version is weirdly saccharine. They're pushing the 'adultery as pure love' angle way too hard, and it makes the whole thing feel off. It's rude to call it 'weird,' but it clearly stems from the 'corporate politics' of the brand's direction. Ideas and settings get recycled in this industry all the time, so it's not inherently wrong, but this approach leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Nao-chan does a great job portraying the repressed feelings of a housewife, but I hate how they wrapped it up. The casting of Ooki-san fits the direction, but it's so far from Director Asagiri's style that I don't see why they even needed him. Personally, I don't support Madonna's philosophy, so I'll just end this by saying, 'Are you kidding me?'
She's one of my favorite actresses, so I bought this immediately after seeing the cowgirl scene in the sample. I loved Nao-chan's presence and how beautiful she looked in various lingerie. Her breast line when fully nude is also magnificent. The progression from avoiding kisses early on to deep, tongue-twisting kisses as they connect emotionally was well-executed. The intimacy is moist and sticky, which is exactly my preference. I also appreciated the sense of style in how they cut to different shots during sex scenes rather than showing everything continuously. I prefer Nao-chan in Madonna-style roles where she's a bit gloomy and gets lost in pleasure while being toyed with (especially by middle-aged men) over her upbeat, nympho roles at Moodyz. The office bondage play was also delightfully perverted. Watching the cowgirl scene I was looking forward to, I ejaculated while imagining myself wrapped in the scent of her wet crotch, wanting to taste every drop of her juices. Some criticize this for being similar to her other works, but even if the content is similar, the performer is different. Unlike regular movies, the point of AV is to enjoy the actress's body and the intimacy, so I don't see that as a problem.
The character played by Nao is top-tier. The progression—refusing the kiss, Tony craving it, calling her to the office to strip her, and finally the intense kiss with Nao—makes kissing the key element of this film. It's no exaggeration to say this is the pinnacle of story-driven AV. Director Jo Asagiri and Tony Oki are a rare pairing, but they might just be the best duo. And it's not just Hajime Horiuchi appearing as the male lead.
