Can't believe Minami Kojima, who was the ultimate JK, is finally playing a mom. Truly an emotional journey. I was hyped to see what kind of scenes she'd have in this role. She's way too young to be a mom, so it felt a bit off, but she's so gorgeous it's totally forgivable. But the real dealbreaker was the male cast. This was just too much. They're supposed to be high school delinquents, but let's be real—they're all just old dudes. Like, seriously, could they not have found better actors? I love the trope of a mom being attacked by her son's bullies, but having old guys do it completely kills the vibe. I really wish they'd cast someone who actually looks like a teenager.
