Finally, a real improvement! Kimura's been churning out mostly remakes, but this one has a significantly revised script. The overall structure is similar, but the dialogue is much better. Iyo Shinohara is killing it with some surprisingly challenging acting for someone with only a year of experience. The camera work is still a bit close-up for older viewers, but they've fixed the awkward angles used to hide the bulge, which is a huge plus considering the recent string of mediocre releases. The initial foreplay has more dialogue, really emphasizing the age gap between the older married woman and her husband's young subordinate. Adding the "dangerous days" setting makes the reluctant-but-giving-in sex even more intense, and the tease of wanting to get pregnant is a great setup for the rest of the scene. The middle part is a bit slow, but the later sex is fantastic. The line about storing all the cum in her uterus during her fertile period is a bit over the top, but it works. The mirror scene felt a little off, like the actress wasn't fully embracing her sexuality, but the pregnancy tease was well-executed and the dialogue was perfect. It still has some weaknesses, like ending with a shot of the husband instead of the actress, but you can tell they're trying to do something different. And Iyo's dedication to the difficult acting really shines through. Five stars.
I was really hoping this would be the one where Shinohara Iyo finally showed up in this series, known for its raw and lustful scenes. The plot revolves around her playing a promiscuous housewife who gets NTR'd by her husband's junior, so the actress *needs* to be able to portray extreme lust and depravity. But honestly, Iyo just doesn't deliver. It falls flat. Putting that aside, the lead actor is just… painful to watch (laughing). I don't know what it is, but he seems stuck in a rap persona? He keeps trying to incorporate rap scenes, and they always bomb. It actively detracts from the experience. He's also trying to play a gloomy character, but he just doesn't *look* gloomy, which is another strike against him. Honestly, a gloomy guy rapping just feels forced. So, you get a constant stream of negative points from the actor, plus unnecessary dialogue during the drama and the scenes themselves. It just keeps piling up. This movie needed an actor who could really pull the lust out of the actress, but that's clearly not happening (laughing). The actor's poor performance also impacts how the actress is perceived. And with Iyo, there's always the hope for some breast milk-related scenes, but… yeah, that didn't happen here. Ultimately, the actor's shortcomings combined with the inability to showcase the actress's appeal result in… well, this.
