I gave it 5 stars because I was able to feel the spirit of the production, and the time and effort put into the detail of having the young couple, who didn't wear rings during their engagement, wear rings after marriage.
The 4th installment of the 'arched-back' series features Aiumi Ryo having an affair with her husband's subordinate. Her husband is too busy for her, so she relies on masturbation. When he's away, his junior, Kawaguchi, visits, claiming he's conflicted about proposing to his girlfriend because he's fallen for Ryo. He finds her toys, offers to 'help,' and they end up having sex. When Kawaguchi brings her drunken husband home later, the tension leads to another encounter. Aiumi Ryo is a versatile actress. I'd love to see her in more roles, like a 'boasted-about wife' or a 'submissive office accountant.' While the series dropped the 'shrimp/arched-back' drama segments after the 2nd film, it remains a compelling affair drama. The cinematography, especially the close-ups of the connection, is excellent. If they keep this series going with actresses like Kinoshita Ririko or Meguri, it could become a definitive work for director U-Kichi. I hope to see more.
