Yui HatanoYui has been dutifully caring for her husband for three years since he fell ill. Her brother-in-law, Koji, has always secretly lusted after her. One day, he catches Yui satisfying her husband's sexual needs and witnesses her masturbating alone out of frustration. Unable to contain his growing desire any longer, Koji decides to make his move.
The male actor is actually pretty good (unlike many other works where the actors are off-putting). The cinematography is careful, and Yui looks beautiful in the intimate scenes.
The drama has a good tempo, and the final night-time rape scene is the highlight. The disappointing part is the scene where the stepbrother rapes Hata-chan; I wish they had put more effort into it. Like, making it more intense or having Hata-chan resist more vigorously. Both of their movements felt stiff and unnatural. The climax scene was good, though. Aside from the male actor's awkward lines, Hata-chan's restrained sensuality and beauty (she looks just like Yuki Saito or Yasuko Sawaguchi—sorry for the dated reference) were exquisite. Watching her white, voluptuous naked body gradually flush red right next to her husband, who couldn't make a sound... that ascetic struggle was the best.
Why even cast Hatano for this? What a waste. Anyone could do this kind of content. They should've just used a third-rate actress.
I watched this expecting a good 'sister-in-law affair' story starring Hatano, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The humiliation starts when she's caught giving her bedridden, terminally ill husband oral sex, but it felt unnatural for a devoted wife to perform an act that could literally kill him, which ruined the immersion for me. Also, while the heroine does climax and move her hips, the brother-in-law's technique is a bit lackluster, and the lack of any verbal admission makes it feel like it missed the core appeal of the genre. I'm giving it 3 stars just because Hatano is attractive, but the director really needs to put more thought into the execution.
