I like Hojo-san's type, and the tan lines from her swimsuit in this are super erotic, but once the sex starts, it just gets too intense and feels the same every time. Even though it's an incest theme, the sense of taboo is pretty weak.

This is a highly polished film, both as a tanning-themed work and as an incest-themed one. A common mistake incompetent directors make with tanning themes is relying on costumes for variety, which ends up hiding the very tan lines they should be showing off. This film features plenty of full-nudity scenes, allowing the contrast between Hojo’s toned body lines and her tan lines to shine beautifully. The sex scenes stay focused on the mother-son dynamic without losing track, and there’s plenty of kissing, creating a high-quality, intimate incest film. Hojo’s open-minded sexuality feels natural and unforced, never coming across as trashy. A minor negative: there’s a great scene where she’s being taken from behind in front of the bathroom mirror, but the actress fails to look at her own reflection, which slightly lowers the quality of that moment. Still, overall, I’d say it’s nearly a 5-star production.
