This work is a total waste of a fantastic actress. The downside is that the camera isn't fixed, so it makes you motion sick. The lighting is poor, so the parts you want to see are too dark. Chapter 1 was a waste of time just watching the game. I bought it with high expectations, but it was such a waste I could cry. It's the first time VR has made me feel sick; I should have listened to the negative reviews.
Reviews for this title are quite polarized, so here are my personal thoughts on some of the common points: ・VR motion sickness: It varies by person, but while there were parts early on that felt 'a bit risky,' it got better from Chapter 2 onwards. (Note: The camera still shakes, so it might be tough for those without a high tolerance.) ・Bad image quality: Sorry, but I didn't even notice it until I read other reviews—maybe my VR headset is the issue... ・Kiss alignment issues: As everyone says, it is misaligned. However, I think it feels more realistic than ASMR kisses in other VR videos because they are actually kissing. The sound of the real kiss and the actress's expression before the kiss are as real as it gets. Conclusion: I haven't watched even 10 VR videos yet, but while I was initially impressed, I started feeling like ASMR kisses were 'missing the mark.' I was tired of the overly passive scenarios, so I bought this blindly just for Mayuki-san, and it was a huge hit. I prefer the male actor being proactive rather than the actress just being passive. It will likely be refined further, but I really hope this 'new standard' becomes the actual industry standard.
The production makes you feel like they're actually doing it. However, the framing of the actor's face is a major turn-off. Also, calling it HD is a stretch; it's more like standard SD quality. I really hope this gets improved.
I guess the hardware still isn't quite there yet. They just couldn't avoid the issues with image quality and the disconnect from the viewer's perspective. A shame.
*It may be difficult to watch for people who get VR sickness just by the atmosphere of being held back by someone and moving forward a little while doing things like sightseeing trekking VR. Care has been taken to ensure that the movement is not sudden, but it is still easy to get sick. After that, I get even more intoxicated because I can't keep my position stable during the massage. It's a shame because he has been flirting with her since the introduction.
