Well, I kind of expected it given the director, but there are absolutely no angles like the photos; it's almost all wide shots. Why do they insist on this? Only this guy, Mondo, and the Nanba Oichi clique seem to think dark, wide-shot scenes are good. In reality, it just makes it hard to see anything.
It doesn't have any elaborate setup or experimental elements, yet it's a masterpiece that's just pure, concentrated eros.
