Outdoor play was quite rare for that time. Aimi-chan has a dedicated fan base, so this feels fresh. When I think of 'outdoors' from back then, I think of the legendary incident where she walked naked in Ginza in 'Ichigo Ichie.' Even now, some Nagoya productions feature scenes of walking naked through crowds (though they get busted for it quite often). SOD’s exposure scenes were also incredible. I used to buy those a lot, including the ones in packed trains.

I had high hopes, but the mosaic seems exactly the same as in the VHS era. It looks like they just ported the VHS footage to DVD. Still, as a fan, I’m very happy, because who has the patience for rewinding/fast-forwarding tapes these days? Plus, I don’t have to worry about the tape degrading. Why don't they release it as a 'Pink File'? It would definitely sell better with improved mosaics. Is it some kind of contractual issue? Even the pricing is odd—'Pink File' includes two discs with improved mosaics for about 2,000 yen, while this reprint is just one disc with the original mosaic for about 3,000 yen. I assume the price is higher because they expect lower sales volume for the reprint series... This project seems purely for the fans. If you're not a fan, it might be worth a try, as the atmosphere is a bit different from her 'Yoshii Aimi' era. Her hair is longer, and she feels more like a cool beauty than a 'loli.' Her looks and body haven't changed much, though.
